We finally met yesterday! I brought 58 pieces created from all media. She met me in the courtyard with the biggest smile and hug! She said she was SO EXCITED to meet me! I felt like it was the warmest home coming ever!! She had been following my work since my Artbeat on Main Street Gallery days in Vista.
We immediately went into the commercial kitchen where there was a huge table we could spread out. She LOVED everything I brought! She kept saying “I love my job!!” My soul was on fire!
A place was already cleared for me in the front and center of the shop. The plan was to move my work in the front window a few months down the line.
The shop is a Museum within itself! The only difference is you get to acquire the pieces and bring them home with you!
I was offered a look through the Surrealist show that was hanging. It was fabulous! My first love was surrealism. By the time I was finished and ready to say “good-bye” they had started placing my work in the front and center of the shop as well as in the window!! My heart could not have beamed any brighter.
We made sure to price my work so anyone can afford it. I like my work to move and be affordable. I love the feeling of people who love my work being able to comfortably own it.
I have my glass work as well as Meditation Rocks.
